Programs
LEARNING:
Sunday School for kids - 9:15am every Sunday at church. Sometimes we go on field trips and sometimes we help at worship.
ADULTS:
Since we have two language groups, we have two Bible Studies - In Spanish, twice a month on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in members' homes. In English - every Tuesday a.m. at 11:00 in the parlor. We begin this course with Marcus Borg's The Heart of Humanity.
FUN & FELLOWSHIP:
Each Sunday after church is a great coffee hour, and each last Sunday of the month is a delicious potluck luncheon. Many other fellowship events occur during the year.
WORSHIP:
We gather in two language groups to worship simultaneously at 10:30 a.m. (chapel and sanctuary), and monthly, for baptisms, for other special events in the life of the congregation, all join together bilingually. Our pastor, Rev. Lynda Clements, speaks Spanish, and our worship leader for the Spanish speaking part of our congregation is Rev. Nelson Garcia. Families from Cameroon, Ghana, Indonesia and Korea are part of our church, as well as from Cuba, Ecuador, Chile, Columbia and Puerto Rico. We are grateful for God's gift of unity in our diversity.
YOUTH:
We have once-a-month gatherings for our teenagers - some are times of learning and sharing about our Christian faith and growth, some are service as disciples of Jesus, and some are just plain fun - a gift of God's grace!
WE NEED YOU, TOO!
We have dreams and visions of more that God's call can pull us toward but without you, it's potential is diminished. Please come to meet us so we can appreciate the unique part of creation that you are, and together walk ahead on our faith journey in the world so hungry for the Gospel.
